This adapter has been wonderful; it allows connecting a Super Nintendo Classic to a computer monitor for those of us who do not own a television. It works wonderfully although gets a bit of a tangle of cables because of all the connections. It would help lessen the tangle if the very short USB cable that it comes with were quite a bit longer.

I use this with a new laptop which does not have an older VGA connector. I use it for a spare monitor at my home office as well as the office when I need to connect to a projector in a meeting room. It works as expected with no issues.

I am a lecturer at a university. I need this HDMI to VGA adapter for my teaching and presentation both on campus and off campus. I bought this product on .com. It arrived on time. I have just tested it in one of the classrooms that I am going to teach the course. The product quality is good.

Worked well for its intended use. Some laptops needed the power some did not. We Ended up getting some for work since this worked out to convert our hard to replace VGA cables.

All my monitors are VGA & all my laptops have HDMI ports. I find this adapter easy to use. Purchased it a 2nd time after leaving my 1st one at a friend’s house.

Haven’t tried the audio port but on my Lenovo T480 I can plug it into the HDMI port and it outputs VGA without the use of the USB connection. Lets me use my existing VGA monitors with no issues.

This adapter allows me to connect my HDMI only Toshiba laptop to my old VGA only monitor. I did not have to connect the USB power port to the adapter. One thing you have to be aware of is there is a 3.5mm audio jack on the adapter so Windows will automatically switch sound to the adapter; you have to go into Control Panel and change the primary sound back to the laptop speakers.
