use it for my second monitor because unfortuatly my GTX 1060 6gb only has DVI 1 HDMI and 3 Display ports but both my monitors one at 1080p and the other at 1280×1024 don”t have HDMI ports so running VGA from my second monitor and plugging this adapter into it and then into my card works just fine.

My apartment has this old-ass Dell TV/monitor from 1999. It’s embedded in the living room wall so I can’t even access any of the cables but it luckily at least has a VGA cable dangling off of it that I can access as well as an audio jack. This signal converter works perfectly for connecting to a laptop so I can watch Netflix etc.; it coverts both the audio and video signal from HDMI to VGA. So far so good. Please note this would not convert VGA signals to HDMI.

Plugged in adapter to my video card and plugged the vga cable into the adapter. The monitor worked with no issues. Great product.
