For the cheapest price it does what I want. It sometimes doesn’t sync with the TV and requires power cycling. Not a deal breaker. Overall satisfied.

Just what you expect. Effortless plug and play installation.

I needed an HDMI-to-VGA adapter for a new laptop so that I could connect it to an older KVM switch that only accepts VGA video. The adapter worked PERFECTLY. The picture was crisp and clear without any banding or artifacts. I initially used the USB power thinking I would need it for picture stability but the picture was the same whether I used power or not. I can switch between computers without any display problems on the laptop that uses this adapter. This is a GREAT adapter. I recommend it highly.

Bought this to enable my Windows 10 tablet to connect to a project which has a VGA connector. My tablet does not have an HDMI socket but I have a little USB-C hub that does have one; by connecting in this HDMI to VGA adaptor I was able to use the projector without any problems. I was even able to use the supplied phono lead to make use of the built-in speakers of the projector without needing to supply extra power.
