I was trying to add a new monitor to a PC that wasn’t old but didn’t have any of the newer type of ports such as DP. To a non techy person it was quite complicated and 3 other solutions didn’t work. some kind of backwards incompatibility but this product was recommended to me by a tech and it worked first time and it’s of a good quality. Don’t muddle with trial and error…..ask someone who knows their stuff !

My daughter recently built her first gaming PC and without realizing that the new video card did not have DVI/VGA output we were in a bit of a pickle. the existing monitor does not support DisplayPort or HDMI. This HDMI to DVI adapter cable is a lifesaver! Works great! Does everything I needed without being terribly expensive.
