..I had an old cable box and new tv and limited choices during pandemic shut down everywhere including customer demands on cable company. old cable box was DVI and of course tv is HDMI.
connection obviously simple. by weird coincidence my daughter had the same issue with an old monitor and ordered the same item as well.
make sure you: 1)check length of cable to meet your set up. 2) make sure you want male to male
