Bought this to connect a Samsung non HDMI monitor to a laptop with only a HDMI ouput. as the monitors only have DVI and VGA inputs..Had my fingers crossed it would work and it does perfectly..The cable is of a decent quality and the length matched what was stated. The connectors either end look solid enough to me and connected up as they should with no looseness or excessive stiffness.

Excellent product. Poor packaging. Delivered in a flat cardboard envelope type package. Item could easily fall out on either left or right hand side gap.
