I use this on an old monitor. It allows me to connect my newer laptop up to a 15 year-old monitor that didn’t have the right connector..It’s been handy during the pandemic & working from home. I have gotten accustomed to using the second monitor for other work. too..The adapters have done just what I needed them to do.

My monitor did not have DVI input. So this made it so I could connect to monitors off of my video card. Picture quality is the same as with HDMI. Get that second monitor if your video card has or computer have this plug in the back. connect it to monitor for more screens.
