Monitor has a DVI port and my computer has HDMI input. This adapter allows me to use the monitor with my computer. Works great no problems. Comes 2 in a pack incase I loose 1.

Better to re use existing hdmi cable rather than but a special so this adapter seemed a good choice.

It’s a DVI to HDMI adapter..It works. It’s cheap. You get two of them. What else ya need?.(Personally use it to make an HDMI connection from my PC to a projector that will only take DVI or VGA)

Using the DVI-HDMI adapter. the graphics card could not run the monitor at its native resolution. For what ever reason. when I replaced the DVI-HDMI adapter with a cable fitted with a DVI plug on one end and HDMI on the other end. the display worked fine at its native resolution. Considering the DVI-HDMI adapter and the DVI-HDMI cable costs about the same. I should have gotten the cable in the first place.
