These adapters do just what they are supposed to. They convert HDMI to DVI. I am using them on my older monitors that do not have HDMI input. The only negative is that they were slightly hard to install because the screw posts are difficult to turn and do not have a slot cut in them to allow you use to a flat head screw driver. Once installed they stayed firmly in place and the picture quality is perfect.

These adapters work great just what I needed. I”ve only used them for HDMI out from computer to a monitor that only has DVI so far but they work great for that.

I used this when I was a security guard. adapt a big screen monitor to watch movies on night shift with a HDMI cable leading off a PVR. No. I wasn’t supposed to. but I did anyway. nice cinematic effect on the bigger screen..Another reason was for my interest in a computer upgrade i’m interested in to a Fujitsu model with no HDMI inputs. only DVI. So I want to be able to use my existing hdmi cables to reduce cable management..Picture quality was about standard 1080p I have not tested in 4k.Overall They did what I thought they would do and fully functional. Do not hesitate to buy if you looking to convert DVI standard input for your male to male HDMI cable.
