After much frustration not realizing a new computer’s mother board does not recognize the usual cords needed to plug in the monitor a wonderful "young man" let me know I needed this adapter it worked like a charm!! easy to use and fast delivery!

Connected to display port of my new EVGA GTX 1060 card. Windows 10 detected the 2nd display. I have only tried 1920×1080 since it is an older display. No issue so far.
