I used this to transfer data from a dead computer to a new one. It was easy to use and worked perfectly. I can”t comment on the warranty as I have not had occasion to use it.

I got this product to connect my old CRT monitor to my desktop. This adapter let me do so with no issues. I had to manually add in a 640×480 display mode via Custom Resolution Utility. but other video modes with different refresh rates were immediately available after installing the device. Plug and play as well.
