I’ve purchased 2 of these cords. One for my Windows 10 and one for my Windows 7. My newer screen does not support the VGA and this cord was cheaper and less complex than the VGA adapter I would need. I’ve never used the display port and decided “why not”. The cord is high quality and flexible enough for its purpose but not flimsy or stiff. It came in a nice branded plain box rolled up (not crimped like cheaper bulk cords) the image is spectacular compared to VGA. The first cord was purchased for use of a second screen. works flawlessly while simultaneously being used (not lagging or sound delays). The second purchase wasn’t used as a replacement. its used to make the VGA obsolete. Now its like ive got a new computer with all of my old stuff on it. I was able to up the resolution and make the fonts less pixelated and made the overall visual aspect of the computer feel more modern. Id like to say thank you for the fast reliable shipping. and the high quality product. Used almost daily. an excellent upgrade. Would definitely recommend as a replacement or upgrade.

Works as advertised. Used it to hook up old laptop to 42 inch Hisense TV. Full HD display. Plug and play. Can’t complain.

everything is fine with it. it’s 4 stars because it works and hasn’t immediately broken. i’ll adjust i guess if it ends up breaking too quickly.

I bought a new PC and when I set unit up I found there was no HDMI in on my monitor. I then learned of the existence of a thing called a display port. Of course there is a new type of connection as sticking with HDMI would be way too sensible..
Anyway thankfully there was this adapter and it has worked perfectly…

Linked up the Toshiba laptop to the TV works well but laptop didn’t ‘see’ the TV so couldn’t modify screen resolution to extend screen (previously used casting to TV which had this function).
