This is perfect for use with an hdmi switcher. Plugs into my work laptop docking station and allows me to switch between work computer and home computer. Works great!

Works full HD. (1920×1080) Haven”t tried higher resolution. No issues; monitor and computer acted like everything was a straight through cable.

Used this religiously for my 2nd monitor. Never removed it from DP port but it suddenly stopped working this week. Lasted almost two years just shy of a couple months. Worked well for the time i had it.

Bought this due to needing my HDMI port for an oculus rift and my aging TV doesn”t accept display port. Can”t notice the difference now that it”s in no lag at all and no drop in picture quality on a 4K 60hz screen.
