Description
The 6 feet cable connects a DisplayPort / DisplayPort++ (DP / DP++) equipped laptop or desktop to a monitor or projector with DVI input. (Note: NOT bi-directional, only transmits from DP to DVI)
Gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and improve the signal transmission. The braided foil shielding reduces interference, and bare copper conductors enhance transmission performance
Supports video resolutions up to 1920×1200 / 1080P (Full HD)
The DP connector has a latch to provide secure connection with the port. Press the latch down before unplugging the connector

This is one of the cheaper cables. yet it feels very premium. comes with very nice packaging. even down to end caps for the plugs. nice tie straps to keep the wires in a good shape.

Used this to connect my Lenovo Thinkpad Dock DisplayPort to the DVI connection on my monitor. Display is crisp and clear.

You plug one end into a graphics card. The other end goes into a monitor. An image appears on the monitor. Pretty straight forward. If anything. I was surprised by the packaging. The bags they come in are resealable. and made out of some pretty sturdy stuff. I’ve reused them to stop monitor/monitor mount-related odds and ends that I don’t use but might need some day.
