The 6 feet cable connects a DisplayPort / DisplayPort++ (DP / DP++) equipped laptop or desktop to a monitor or projector with DVI input. (Note: NOT bi-directional, only transmits from DP to DVI)
Gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and improve the signal transmission. The braided foil shielding reduces interference, and bare copper conductors enhance transmission performance

The DP connector has a latch to provide secure connection with the port. Press the latch down before unplugging the connector

The ends fit where they plug in and they plug in securely. And I’ve seen no problems with transmission or operation. Who could ask for more?

If your monitor doesn”t have DisplayPort connector but it has HDMI and DVI get these istead of HDMI to avoid all the signal lost/blank monitors when your PC wakes up from sleep problems.

This cable allowed me to connect an old 19″ DVI/VGA monitor directly to a new graphic card without any adaptors. Works very well .
