This cable works fantastic! Whoever wrote the ad should never be allowed to work with text ever again. This cable is DisplayPort (DP) to DVI and is omnidirectional. but this ad says this in some areas and the complete opposite in others areas which made purchasing this cable seem much more risky that it really was.

I bought these to connect two monitors to a laptop for work. The cables worked perfectly out of the package. What else can I say?

Simple to connect a DP port on my RTX2070 to an older spec monitor which uses DVI or RGB. Happy with 1080p but if you need 1440 or higher get another cable.
