Description
The 6 feet cable connects a DisplayPort / DisplayPort++ (DP / DP++) equipped laptop or desktop to a monitor or projector with DVI input. (Note: NOT bi-directional, only transmits from DP to DVI)
Gold-plated connectors resist corrosion and improve the signal transmission. The braided foil shielding reduces interference, and bare copper conductors enhance transmission performance
Supports video resolutions up to 1920×1200 / 1080P (Full HD)
The DP connector has a latch to provide secure connection with the port. Press the latch down before unplugging the connector

Rankie DisplayPort (DP) to DVI Cable Gold Plated 6 Feet BlackAllows me to connect an older (non-HDMI/non-DP) monitor to a new video card that lacks a DVI connector. Works perfectly. Highly recommended! (requires use of a separate audio cable if connecting to a monitor with speakers)

I had purchased 4 new monitors for my other computers and they all turned up with different inputs. one only supported htmi. the other display or digital outputs. I have a whole bag dedicated to spares :).Thanks. solid cable!
