I prefer the lighter simpler cases. Easy to snap on and off. However. I thought the back would be a softer silicone. The back is hard plastic. My previous case also had a hard plastic back. which broke on the corner after it was dropped. thus needing replacement. The hard plastic also seems to slide around too easily when on my nightstand. I put self -adhesive felt on the back. rather than return.

My last iPad case was too big and heavy. It might have protected it from being run over by a car. but it was too clunky. This case seems to offer good protection while still being light enough to carry around.
