The subtraction of one star is not for the quality of the case. but for a personal preference. The back of the case is hard plastic. It is textured slightly. but does not provide the grip that a rubbery coating would. Other than the matter of grip. the case does what it should very well. It protects the screen when the tablet is packed in a bag or briefcase. and protects the tabletfrom minor dings and scrapes. while keeping it light and slim.
