I recommend this ipad cover! I bought the 10.2 cover and the fit is perfect. the pink color I chose is as shown online. and the microfiber covers outside and inside. but doesn’t cover the backside of the ipad but that’s ok with me. It is slip proof which is important to me to help prevent slipping out of my hands. therefore. I didn’t choose the hard shell one. I also had another microfiber one. smaller cover. that was a rose gold and it’s liked just as much. I haven’t tried the sleep mode part of the cover yet.
