I bought my wife the new iphone XS Max for her birthday I bought this inexpensive case for protection along with a separate screen protector. This JETech case is just a clear slightly soft bumper cover that protects the phone case is clear to allow the color of the phone case to shine through (hers is silver) all controls are accessible no problem. This is a good case for a phone user who is not a mountain climber or is prone to dropping their phone 3 times a day. This was money well spent. My wife can now get a phone case of her choosing down the road meanwhile the phone is protected.
